IVRCL bags order worth Rs 1,550 cr from NHAI

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects today said it has bagged an order worth Rs 1,550 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for construction of road.
The project is for constructing shortest connecting road between Indore and Ahmedabad, IVRCL Infrastructures said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE).
The scope of work includes up-gradation of existing carriageway and construction of new pavement, road intersections and drains, the filing added.
The company bagged the road project under the international competitive bidding and the project is to be completed in two and half years.
IVRCL Infrastructures is a construction and infrastructure company with presence in water, road, power, oil and gas and building segments, it added. The company has order book position of over Rs 22,000 crore.
